OKC Rifle Match---June 20th

In preparation for the Oklahoma State Rifle Championship in the fall (date and information to follow) we will be hosting a Rifle match on Sunday, June 20th. We will be shooting 6 stages of rifle including long range. It will be practical style with the new OKC scoring matrix used in 3-gun matches we host.

There will be 4 divisions only;
Non-magnified-Tactical(irons and 1x optics)
Magnified-Tactical(magnified optics)
Non-magnified-Rimfire
Magnified-Rimfire

The rimfire divisions will shoot the same COF as the tactical ones but will have a modified Long Range COF.

For the state match, we will have plenty of sponsors, a two day format, lots of people and plenty of fun! We are working on dates and sponsors right now. I will be the match director and our very own Kurt Miller will be the Rangemaster with Curly Harrison as the Assistant Rangemaster.

120-140 should be a safe estimate.

This doesn't sound like any fun and I know it's an April fools joke. What next a major 3 gun match in OK. Nice try guys! You can't fool me.

Actually we talked about a big 3-gun match and decided that it would be not in everyone interest to try and hold a major 3-gun match with so many really good ones already established within a days drive.

A rifle match that allows rimfire as a recignized division though!?!?!?! Now we have just opened our game up to anyone with that Ruger 10/22 or Remington 597 or even those sweet Nordic Components uppers or 10/22 kits (shameless sponsor plug). No one does this yet as far as we know and the potential for success is much greater. Not to mention it will be a heck of a good time. The shots will be tight and the tactical divisions will shoot from contact to 300 yards. The rimfire guns will have to reach out to 100.

Get ready for a whole new revolution in match awesomeness!

I am using my SR22 or my new Nordic components 22 upper that I'm gonna win at the high plains shotgun challenge.

Not only allowed, but encouraged!

Also, any junior under 18 shoots free with an adult. Bring out the 10/22 and rock!
