Do you mean the one NORTH of 41st street? Across from Don Thorton? They're roughly at the 3900 block.

Yes, thats the one. I didn't know there were any others in Tulsa after the one on Sheridan? closed down. I sure miss that pawn shop that used to be beside it. Bullet hole or something like that. Used to browse through the milsurps for hours!

gunboat is a cool place they have fair prices on real surplus stuff. the old guy who works in there gets pretty lonely so dont start a conversation if you dont have some time to kill. they are west of yale on the south side of 11th approx 1 block from tallys cafe they are next door to a comic book store and i suggest parking in the back. the store at 39th and memorial is under new management who have really cleaned it up and organized it. they have surplus uniforms but a poor selection of packs and gear. its more of a military themed store where gunboat is more of a true surplus

I go to Gun Boat Park surplus as well. There's a cool old man who works in there. He was telling me how good the MREs are and how he eats them for lunch. He was interesting to talk to.

I've heard of this place in Gun Boat Park too but have yet to be in. They also seem to be the only milsurp in town that sells REAL milspec paracord too.

Okay so I went in oklahoma army surplus friday. Wanted to get an ammo can. Yes, the store is posted with what looks like a "no browning buckmarks" sign lol. All the employees were wearing blue vests ala wal-mart and this crazy tweaker lookin dude kept staring at me. Concealed is concealed. Although i do like the rearrangement they did. They have 50 cal, .30 cal, 40mm and 25mm and 20mm ammo cans.

The old surplus store(45th and memorial) is going to be a pawn shop on one side and surplus on the other. Thats why theyre moving things around. They havent been a real surplus store in years.

Interesting. That's the way that place used to be back in the mid-90's. Bring the pawn shop back. I used to get some killer deals there.

I remember this. It was like that in the 80s too. Unfortunately I was away during most of the 90s and when I got home for a visit they'd done away with the pawn shop and gone all surplus. I do love me some pawn shopin' though.
