I just re-read the story. It says they had found child pornography on his computer... I thought the FBI had "instant triggers" on stuff like that, and reportedly start investigating them immediately? If so, the WHY THE F@#$ DID THIS CONTINUE?!?!

These stories are the prime thing that break my heart the most... especially as a dad to 2 boys and 1 beautiful daughter. My mind just can't comprehend what type of creature it would take to be sexually interested in a young child, let alone act on it? I would be in prison for sure if someone ever put their hands on my daughter like that.

Not in defense of the guy, at all. I agree with you 100%. It wasn't child porn on his computer, it was "older" girls portraying young girls. Hence technically not illegal.

While I commend the guy for protecting his daughter, and I fully agree that he was justified, but it is unfortunate that he may still carry a sense of wrong for killing the perpetrator.
