Old colt 22 pistol

A friend has this old pistol for sale. I'm not an expert on these old colts so everyone tell me yalls opinion on condition and value and maybe I'll buy it... I think he said it was made in 1903.

I think it is a Colt Woodsman in good condition. For it's age anyway. No idea of the value since I do not know Colts. Just what I pickup here and there. Would have been made 1915 on.

I asked the owner of the pistol to tell me what it says on the barrel and he said it's a model 1903 woodsman made in 1918.

I did some research on gb, all pre woodsman pistols have the patent dates of 1903 and 1918 on the barrel so short of a serial number lookup I don't know exactly what yr it was made. That being said, they are not selling very fast on gb. And bids are low on similar condition pistols

Maybe this will help. Like another member said a serial number would be very helpful
