Kamp's Grocery for a meatloaf sandwich - 25th and Classen.

Lion's Share - phones at the table to order - way out on NW Expressway.

Nick's Italian Imports. I always ordered a sandwich called the Gut Bomb. 24th and Western

The Wilds (BBQ and Catfish) - west of OKC.

Pizza Grandioza - my favorite pizza. Way out on NW Expressway.

The Bricks BBQ and Bakery - near 36th and Portland. Had jazz bands play live in there sometimes

Dakota's at May and 122nd. Their fried cheese was amazing.

I miss the old Hickory House in OKC and there was another BBQ place but I can not remember the name of it. We talked about it a time or two here but the name escapes me.

There also was (maybe still is) a little cafe going into Guthrie on the first exit. Had great coleslaw.
You know the old Hickory House was owned by the Bayless family. Son Rick is now an internationally chef, author and Tv personality with his show Mexico One plate at a time. Along with his brother Skip who is a famous ESPN announcer.

Chi Chis in MWC, where my wife to be and I had our first date (over 42 years ago.)
Catfish Cabin - took our family of 7 often for their catfish buffet - got to know the owner very well. He sold and retired to Alabama. The place closed not long after.
Molly Murphys' - plenty has been said about the Jaguar salad bar.
Steak & Ale on 39th Street - Noon happy hour. It was a phase.
