Nothing like getting whacked in the forehead from a 44 cal ball bouncing off a giant oak fence post. About 45 years ago I was enjoying my 1851 colt navy repro in 44 when that happened.. No serious injury, but it does show how hard Oak fence posts can be..

As much as I like my ARs, and Glocks, there is just a John Wayne kind of rush that comes with a lever action and a SAA....

No surprise here I guess, I'm a youngster who like the new guns. My intereset as far as old guns goes is a 1911 or a Chicago Typewriter but every collector should have a couple revolvers too so it's my "list".

Not that one could "own" them, but I found a lot of "old school" firearms out at the 45th Infantry Museum in OKC today. I must have spent at least 3 hours and took over 300 photos out there. They even have one of the Colt Paterson revolving shotguns in their display. See the first photo at the link below.

I'm really not into the AR's, I'd rather have a good ole Remington. Rugged, And Reliable.

You guys need to check out the Colt collection at Woolaroc if you haven't already..........for you that like the older ones.
