I might be a buyer on the Smith. I've been wanting something in 44mag. Wait. Isn't the Model 22 chambered in 45acp?

It's a Model 24-3 .44 Special. 2 1/2 inch barrel, red front sight ramp, adjustable rear sights, factory wood grooved grips.

It's a Lew Horton, I think. Serial number starts out with ALA

Sounds like a real beauty. Probably too spendy for my budget. Are you wanting to sell it? God, I love old shiny large caliber revolvers.

What a depressing post. If I dig through my closet, all I'll find is a fiddleback spider. Anyone want a couple of those?

I also like revolvers - cool stuff.
