Run away. That stuff is horrible. I made the mistake of getting it while with my buddy at the class 6 on tinker. (He's navy I'm a civilian)

I had some the other day. Its taste is very nice. Yes, it is 40 proof, which is half the proof of most liquor. Also, it is very expensive- $23 for a small jar of it in Tulsa. If you want to get drunk, skip it. If you want something very tasty, and have the coin, go for it. I enjoyed it with a friend, and would buy it again for a special occasion.
