One of my biggest projects of the year - DONE!

To say I'm exhausted would be an understatement. One of my bigger projects each year is putting together this trade show booth for my employer. I am the director of project management & technical compliance at my job, and this is definitely a big project! Planning begins months in advance, working with electricians, booth builders, multiple gaming manufacturers, AV guys, engineers, etc. We brought it all together over these past 4 days and I'm so glad to have this one in the books! I just thought I'd share a few pictures:

What the photos don’t show is that the booth also includes a large storage room and a private conference area at the back.

My little brother just retired from being a slot tech at VGT. He hated every minute of his last 5yrs working casinos and has nothing good to say about their ethics and integrity

I was a technician for about 14 years, and I’ve been on the administrative side for the past 11. I’ve seen good and bad. I work with some exceptional people, and there are some very fine people on the casino side as well. Just like any other industry.

Dang... That's impressive.

I've set up 8 or 10 tables and a laser simulator at a gun show and that was a major PITA. I can't even imagine what goes into something that complicated. Nicely done!

VGT was a great place before Aristocrap took them over. Interestingly, that was basically exactly 5 years ago. The official takeover was something like 2016 IIRC, but they didn't implement "synergies" and make major changes till about 2019.
