All I can say is that any of ya’ll that weren’t out in the woods today, well you missed one of the best most beautiful days a deer hunter could ask for. No wind, 27 degrees, frost, rut still being active and the deer were moving.
Saw at least 7 bucks and don’t know how many does, but this one made a mistake and started trying to wind me and then she stomped at my blind.
.44 SBH at about 20 feet, she went about 40 yards.

Saw plenty of deer. Some were close, some weren't. Does and bucks alike. Even had one decent 8 stroll by. Just not a shooter this year in my book. It's been a good season so far, but I probably won't shoot anything that isn't impressive. I don't need the meat for the freezer yet.
