The last 125gr hp that I could find that my dad reloaded, my grandpa's house fire salvaged Steven's bolt action 30-30 and my great grandpa's skinner.

Mauser 96 on patrol this afternoon.

Today I learned that on a 96 if the bolt is even a smidgen up, it won't fire lol. Had to raise my head off the stock to see what was going on. That's what all the commotion is right before the shot. Video courtesy of Samsung and my left hand.

Yep, have had that happen at a military bolt shoot. 1mm raise in the bolt will render it unfireable. I just made that word up, ha

Makes sense to me lol. Took me a second to even see what was going om and stretch a finger over there. Good thing the wind was blowing 30mph.
