Good evening folks.
Had a pretty busy day today.
Pulled the boat out of the water today. Power washed it and cleaned the inside really good. Got my new trolling motor installed, my Bluetooth Heading Sensor and new batteries installed.

We have Major League Fishing’s Redcrest 2022 tournament going on here this week. 1st prize Sunday is $300,000. I’ve been streaming it tonight to catchup on who’s doing what and where. Lol

A good Jackson Hole story. Years ago my wife and I were a staying at Twa-wa-tee Lodge in Jackson Hole, in a cabin. Great place, and this was around the 4th of July. I got up and the weather was great, in the 60's, and clear. This lodge is on the eastern side of Jackson Hole, up near the pass by the same name, which I likely miss-spelled. I decided to take a walk and there was a forest service road leaving the cabin area. A few yards in there was a sign stating, " Caution Grizzly area, special rules apply"! WE keep a lady smithg 38 pistil in the car, so I decideed to put that in my pocket just in case. I walked way back , gorgeous day, and I could see the Grand Tetons, and Jackson lake, in the distance, When I got back to the cabin I told my wife about the warning sign and said I'm glad we had the pistol in the car! She, being the smart ass she is said, what were you going to do with that little pistol, shoot yourself, if a grizzly got you down?

Good afternoon guys,
Well my new trolling motor came in as expected this afternoon. Ran into Grove and picked up two brand new Interstate deep cell batteries, a quick release for the motor and a oil change kit.
guess what my day entails tomorrow??
You got it. Motor installation, battery installation and oil change.
I hooked the trailer up to the truck and was going to pull the boat out of the lake but it is damn cold and really windy. I’ll do that tomorrow.
Man I feel sorry for the professional anglers out on the water today. Major League fishing is holding Redcrest 2022 here on Grand. They were flying by our place this morning. Brrr…
Back in the 90's I think it was wife and I were staying on Monkey Island at a resort that had big A frame cabins with two sides. One side was bunks only and the other side had beds and cooking. We had the cooking side.
The BASS final championship tournament of the year was to be held on Grand the day after we left. We had great temps and caught lots of fish.
We were sitting on the shared deck of the A frame cabin one evening when the new neighbor showed up. It was Larry Nixon of bass fishing fame.
Nice guy, we visited quite a bit. He gave me some tips that hold true to this day.
The tournament started the day after we left and became a classic because the temps dropped into the low 20's and has been forever known as the Ice tourney.
Spent a lot of weekends there back in the day. Was talking to the wife that we needed to get back over there and see what changes have been made. Been since the early 2000's since staying at Longs Resort.

Reading the posts above and looking at the times they were posted about getting a second cup of coffee made me realize that I have a serious coffee addiction. I’m usually on my second pot of coffee by around 7:30. Hope everyone enjoyed the day. The weather was perfect!
HA!HA! I don't get my first mug of coffee until 9 am or later.
Not really addicted. I can go a day or two between coffee fixes. Wife and I both can drink coffee and take a nap afterward.

Here, but occasionally There.
My coffee habit is using what is actually a 5 cup Mr. Coffee maker. That amounts to two mugs in the morning and then I make another pot in the evening to get two more mugs.

Like Dennis and his wife, coffee doesn't keep me from getting to sleep if that's what I want to do.

Saturday is here, so we have a wee bit of shopping to do and spend some time with our youngest son. We all usually get together on Saturdays to do shopping and eat out somewhere. Wife's NutriBullet died this past week, so it looks like we will be looking for a replacement. She uses hers a lot to make smoothies and freeze them to make up her breakfasts a lot of the time. The old one has been around since sometime in 2016 or 2017. She bought it while we were in Oregon.
