Today was 'prep the power equipment' day at my house. Both my Honda self-propelled mower and Echo weed whacker are 18 years old! All the Echo has ever had done to it is a couple of air filters and spark plugs. I've always used Echo oil and premium gas. Both still start on 1st or 2nd pull!

I've replaced the drive belt on the Honda about 7 or 8 years ago. Other than the regular maintenance, that's it for the Honda......oh, just replaced the blades for the first time today! They still had many more years in 'em, but what the hell!

Buying quality stuff, then taking care of it is usually cheaper than buying the cheap stuff. Plus, it's a lot less aggrevating!!!

Party on, Garth!

Good evening guys,
What a beautiful day it has been today. I drove down to Tulsa and worked a couple of hours early this morning. Drove back up to Grove and met the wife at Lowes. Purchased some more wood flooring to finish out the lake house. We are flooring our master bedroom in a couple of weeks then the whole place will have new flooring.
Then I pulled out one of my neighbors boats and did a full tuneup (oil change, new spark plugs, changed lower unit oil, new gas/water separator and new fuel filter) on his Yamaha 250. Then gave it good power wash inside and out.
It was great being out in the sun today. I needed some natural vitamin D.

Now we are sitting on the deck eating pizza.

What a great day.
Hope it was a great day for ya’ll as well.

Hey everyone. Hope y'all's day is going better than mine. :/

My 78 yr old sister's memory has gotten worse over the past few months, and now it's looking like she can no longer live alone (her husband passed in 2014). Talked to my niece & nephew a little while ago, and they're trying to figure out what to do. She's my only remaining sibling, and even though she's a bit older (13 yrs?), we've always been close. I'm sure this is going to be devastating for her.

Prayers for her and our family would be greatly appreciated.

Here, but occasionally There.
Prayers for your sister and for you, Mac.

We (wife, youngest son, and I) just got back from a trip up to the Panhandle. My sister turned 81 back on the fifth, but prior to that, she made a decision. She has serious heart problems and they considered an ablation. However, after discussing and finding out the drawbacks of ablation, she chose to not have one done. Her doctor said that she could live another 10 years or another 10 days, so she is just leaving it up to God.

Throughout her life, she has had 20 surgeries and numerous other health issues. I told her once that with all she had gone through, she was the epitome of
"The Iron Lady."

Praying for you and your family Mac! Unfortunately, it’s not an easy road. I dealt with that situation with my mom a few years ago. She lived with us for a couple of years before she got to the point where she couldn’t be left alone at all. If you would like, I’d be more than happy to talk with you about my experience, and what I did throughout the stages. I completely understand if you don’t feel like talking about it now, but my offer is always there.
