Our home has flower beds all around it. Springs past, we planted a crap ton of flowers and it was absolutely beautiful all summer.
Since we are gone in the RV for over half a year annually, the flower beds are becoming rock gardens.
Spread a pallet of the recycled rubber mulch in the flower beds this morning and unloaded 2 1/4 tons of Colorado river rock, one stinking rock at a time into the flower beds.
Half the flower beds covered now. The big rock in the first pic has a hole bores all the way from bottom to top. It will eventually be a fountain.
Worn smooth out this evening.
Later when completed, we found a product that landscapers use to coat and seal the rocks which really makes the colors pop out.
Now back to OKC for another load of rocks.

Looks nice! Definitely not a fun project! I would have opted for plastic flowers and a long lasting grass/weed killer.

Good luck @dancer4life with your dance competition this weekend. Hope everything goes smooth.
Second that! Hopefully everything runs smoothly for your event.
Thanks guys,
We have the main ballroom finished. The other two are almost done. Everything starts at 3pm.
It’s going to be a busy week.

Here, but occasionally There.
Good morning, Folks. Gotta wish good luck to Dancer and wife. I don't know if they are competing or just being the ones to put on the show. But, either way, may it be a great event.

Wife and I will be going for a walk in Sooner Mall likely, and then this afternoon, we'll head over to Yukon. Wife is expecting a new phone since she broke her other one the other day when she dropped it and cracked the screen. She's going to give one of those Samsung "Fold" phones a try. She says that the reviews on them have improved quite a bit since they first came out with them. I guess we'll see.

Good morning all. @TerryMiller, one of my daughters got one of the Fold phones a few weeks ago, and cannot be any happier with it. I don’t know what features are the “Got to have” things, but I’m sure you guys will be happy with it.

They will be laying carpet here today. Hopefully they will finish today and we can start getting things back to normal. This looks like another good day to get some range time.
