A buddy of mine found them yesterday on Ellsworth. I’ve also heard that they’re catching quite a few on Tom Steed in the last few days.

Crappie are still a few degrees of water temp away from the spawn here in NC Ok. Buddy went out today with his son catching a 2.3 lb crappie and my buddy catching a 2.1. They only caught 6 in deep water but they were quality crappie.
Wind hasn't rested yet. Neither have I.
It’s almost 6 AM and the wind is blowing probably 20 mph. I know several have said it, but I’m tired of it! My plans for the day have definitely changed because of it. I’m just not sure what I’m going to do yet. I’m caught up on work for the most part, and I’m taking the day off. I’m going somewhere to do something because I refuse to stay inside with 3 women today (my wife, daughter, and step daughter). I love them all, but I’m going to hide out today.

Drive down to Meers and eat a Steakburger.
Lots to do today, and its going to be windy getting it done. Cleaning the pond and making repairs. Would like to get the clean out done today, but I'm moving slow. Also have some fence repair to do, hopefully be able to get at it this afternoon. Have a good Saturday all.
