The year is getting off to a bad start. I smashed a finger and almost broke my elbow booming down a tractor this morning. The knot is about the size of a chicken egg.

Happy Birthday Lee!

I got a somewhat interesting phone call this morning. A guy called wanting to know how much money I would charge him to use a 50 amp outlet in my RV park to charge his car. That was a first, but it it does have me thinking about a new business opportunity. I’m just not sure if I could handle a bunch of Birkenstock sandal wearing yuppies lined up waiting to charge their cars.
Hmmm - 'ya can always sell the Birkenstock's along with the charging fees 😏

Ironically, the smashed finger is still throbbing, but the swelling is already leaving the elbow. I was trying to beat a rain shower, and this is what happens when I get in a hurry. :rolleyes2
When I got my fingertip shoved through the die hole by a RCBS press ram a few years ago, it never really hurt (probably smashed all the nerves, put it in shock?). That dang Novacaine or whatever they used to deaden it felt like a cutting torch injection though!

Well, I told y’all a few weeks ago that my youngest son got engaged, and we just got a family group text that they eloped yesterday. I haven’t got my wife’s reaction yet, but I’m tickled that I don’t have to dress up for a big fancy wedding. :thumb:

Congratulations! (How much did you pay them???) You've gained a lovely daughter-in-law!

This didn’t cost me a dime. My son is very independent and not a fan of being the center of attention. I don’t know Erica well, but I get the impression she‘s the same way.
