Ok. Today. I have officially declared war on the squirrels. I have 4 mature pecan trees in my yard and I have yet to get a single pecan (planted the trees over 25 years ago). They seem to be loaded after getting a major trimming from a couple of ice storms in years past. I have an amazing scoped Beeman R9 pellet gun. I’m 1 for 1 so far today

Welcome to them. I was hesitant to take them thinking of them being like meat in the freezer but they just devastate my pecans. The trees are too close to others to protect by covering trunks with metal and not very aesthetic for my yard.

Man ... Guys ... Yeah I'm whining but DAMN ... Is this weather ever gonna give me a break?? Poor Dawg is so haggard looking. He's beat, too. But ... I only had to fight him getting up in my face bad for the first couple of hours. He's been watching that little grey kitten (she's cool as a cucumber) and he actually went to the foot of the bed and laid down next to her last night. I'm SO hoping he's FINALLY figuring out he's gonna be okay when it rains. Or the wind blows. Or there is thunder. Or lightning.

About every 18 months, some arsewipe manages to put fraudulent charges on my credit card. Today I noted charges for $1200 and $90 to "Over the Hedges". Called USAA to complain, and like usual, they promise to investigate and inactivated my card and the dear wife's. Downsides for me are: having to re-do all my scheduled payments that take CC; not being able to buy ammo (really don't need any); and having to re-do my request for an expedited passport renewal (company is sending me to Switzerland in September if my passport gets renewed and mailed in time). Wish I could use those crooks for target practice!!

Good morning folks. We are getting ready to hit the road back to OKC. Looks like lots of flooding happening there.

Good morning, All. We got back from a quick visit to see my sister. She had a fall and broke 5 ribs, so since she is 82 years old, I had my concerns. We headed up Friday night and stayed the night in a Guymon hotel then went on to see them Saturday morning. Seeing that she is still in good spirits, in spite of some pain, we came back home yesterday afternoon. She is definitely one tough lady considering all that she has gone through in life.

Good morning folks,
Just made it back into OKC and missed all the rain. But man, there was some flooding by our business. Tree limbs and all kinds of debris on the roads. Looks like we came back at the right time.
