OSA Chit Chat Thread

Good morning, All. The wife and I have "mostly" been enjoying some time off from our Summer jobs. We did make a trip up to see my sister after her fall and breaking some ribs. Other than that, it has been just sit around and relax.

In that vein, after working for two months, it is a bit boring. Rhode Island was nice in one way that while driving around doing our road survey work, we got to see a lot of interesting NE houses. There were dang few single story houses up there.

My next eye injection is scheduled for next Thursday, so the company can send us out to work north Texas anytime after that. We will like getting back to work so we can drive around and see new things and places again.

It was a great day for me. My oldest son and I successfully killed over 100 aluminum cans and various other targets that we scrounged up around the house. We burned through a lot of ammo, but it was a lot of fun. After we got everything picked up, we went out for a good chicken fried supper at the local cafe.

Evening all,
We got the kids all loaded up and ready to head to New Orleans tomorrow morning. We had a great day with them today, they hired movers to unload and load the Uhauls so that was really nice just standing around and catching up with them wile the movers did all the work.
We took them to Chiles for lunch, then back to the hotel and hung out all afternoon, then to dinner at Mama Rohas for Mexican food on Lake Hefner.

Had a fish fry with the trout we caught yesterday at Turquoise Lake. 8 folks in attendance with some fish left over for fish taco's another day.
