Here, but occasionally There.
Back out again today for taking pictures. Wednesday is the day for weekly certifications for the state of Texas, and with the distance we had to drive to do that and wait for approval, we didn't get much work done. So, the wife did some laundry and I drove out to take some more pictures.

First off, in the small town of Keyes, OK where I grew up, we had two different rail lines serving the community. On the north side was the AT&SF and the south side was the MKT. (For those not familiar with all the railroads, MKT is "The Katy" and the initials stand for Missouri, Kansas, and Texas railroad.) Anyway, there is a "Katy" display of rail cars and a Katy depot here in Denison, TX.

There are now some shops within the depot, but I didn't go into any of them.

I'm a sucker for cabooses.

After getting the pictures of the depot and "rolling" stock, I drove out to photograph the Carpenter's Bluff bridge from the new bridge so the full span could be seen.

Good evening all,
Had a really productive day today.
We are now packing for our trip to Nashville, TN. Our flight leaves at 6:40am bright and early in the morning. This is a work trip so not much fun stuff planned while in Nashville. Flying back late Sunday night.

Hope you all had a great Wednesday.

Had to take the RV in for some extended warranty work today. Bedroom slide seems to have lost a couple of ball bearings we found on the floor. Ice maker in the fridge has a stuck valve that flows water and doesn't make Ice. Just about didn't get the slide in when coming back from Colorado. According to the truck, almost 50,000 miles towing since 2020 so it's been pretty much trouble free.

I am having a rough time of it the last couple of days. Grumpy took the boys and Dad shooting Monday and I stayed in town with Momma and the new baby (our "adopted" grands). I "might" have held her a little bit too much. Plus they have a couple of 7, 8 week old puppies and me and "big sister" might have gotten a little rowdy playing in the floor. 🤦🤦 My upper back is KILLING me and I cannot shake off this headache.

I'm starting to see why my dad's favorite game was "doing surgery". He would let us kids "put him to sleep" and then we could "operate" on him. 😂 I swear that man would fall so dead asleep he would snore -- especially when we were "operating" on his back ... 😂😂😂

I’m discovering that I’m not as young as I used to be and am moving quite a bit slower today. I’ve downed two cups of coffee so far and am feeling a little better, but my eyes still feel “gritty” and are swollen from all the dust yesterday, but my sinuses have pretty much cleared. I’m sure I’ll be ok once I get on the tractor.
Y’all have a great day!!! :thumb:

We’re kind of like diesel engines. It takes us awhile to get warmed up, but we can go all day after we get going.
