I was going to volunteer you, but you beat me to it. Anyone that puts up with as many kids as you do for the youth program can sure put up with one crotchety old lady.
Today is celebratory. We have finished our Summer work job (as of yesterday) by finishing the last three redo records on the roads. Boss then told us to head back to the barn, so this morning, we head north from Bonham, TX to the Tulsa area to turn in the van and the company credit card.
Looking forward to getting to sleep in our own bed in our own humble RV.

I used to drive into it in the mornings going to work and into it in the evenings on the way home. I'm sure glad those days are behind me. Oof ...
Hope everything goes well at the VA.
Surgery went well I guess, I barely remember bits and pieces after around 10 this morning. Apparently I went into Sam's w/my wife, and ended up leaned up against the shelves going to sleep while pushing the cart . Made it home around around 5, sit down in my recliner and woke up again around 7. Definitely a big chunk of the day missing!
