OSA Chit Chat Thread

I’ve lived with back pain/sciatica whatever for several years, but I must’ve done something while working yesterday that pinched a nerve or something. I have a shooting pain from my lower back (right side) through my groin and down my right leg, and when it shoots, my leg tries to buckle.
I’m leaving for my place up there tomorrow and at this point, I think the 8 hours in the truck would not be enjoyable. My wife made me an appointment for noon at the Airrosti Rehad Center to see if they can help.

Oh wow, Yes that 8 hour truck ride does not sound like it will be good. Praying that the rehab will help with the pain.

Surgery went well I guess, I barely remember bits and pieces after around 10 this morning. Apparently I went into Sam's w/my wife, and ended up leaned up against the shelves going to sleep while pushing the cart . Made it home around around 5, sit down in my recliner and woke up again around 7. Definitely a big chunk of the day missing!

@dancer4life - so sorry about your Mom. Yes, that's going to be a very long, tough road. Here's hoping you find a good facility for her very soon. Prayers with all of you.

@retrieverman - be careful, man! That can be another life-changing event! Really hate that happened, but get some help with it. And, when (if) you get up here, holler if I can do anything! Prayers, brother!

Huh...

...after listening to everyone else's problems, my knee issues seem very minor. Prayers for ALL those dealing with sickness, pain, and mental strain with dealing with relatives.

Off the road now, and I think I'll go take a nap, just because I can.

Ok, the doctor appointment I went to wasn’t a chiropractor, but I think the procedures are similar. It seems to have helped, but my biggest takeaway was that all my problems appear to be soft muscle issues and not skeletal. I have some exercises to do, and the guy thinks if I do them I can get by with only one or two more visits (that sounds like a chiropractor spiel).
Whether the Dr appointment helped or not, my truck is loaded to head north in the morning.

As I've said before, the dreaded "40" was pretty good to me, 41 wasn't bad other than the covid drama...but after that, I seemed to go downhill in a hurry . As one of my good friends that's almost 15 years older than me always says, "It doesn't get any better!"
