Ok, the doctor appointment I went to wasn’t a chiropractor, but I think the procedures are similar. It seems to have helped, but my biggest takeaway was that all my problems appear to be soft muscle issues and not skeletal. I have some exercises to do, and the guy thinks if I do them I can get by with only one or two more visits (that sounds like a chiropractor spiel).
Whether the Dr appointment helped or not, my truck is loaded to head north in the morning. :woohoo1:
OK, I'm not a Dr and don't play one on the internet, but I got tired of going to the bone cracker for some sciatica issues several years back.
Needed to go down the hill we live on to get the mail, deciding to ride the 3 wheeler vs driving as it hurt to get into the vehicle. Pretty rough road 3/10 mile long one way.
When getting off back at the house, I was pain free. That ride "adjusted" me just fine.

OK, do you suppose that road would fix bad knees?

Good evening all,
Well we have found a nice facility for my mom to rehab at in Edmond. We are just waiting for her insurance to ok it. Hopefully we will hear from the insurance tomorrow. If so, we can transport her on Saturday.
Fingers crossed.
Hope it works out!

Bingo! Congrats.
Here is something that your mom did, my MIL did, and now we are doing is to get the insurance.
If a person has to go into a nursing/rehab facility for long term, they have to sign away their assets to the nursing home to cover expenses if there is not enough cash to cover it.
We know folks that have lost their farms, homes and everything they own for an extended stay in a facility vs being able to pass it along to their heirs.
I'm covered as a veteran, with military facilities, but the wife isn't. We started the insurance several years ago.
Wife's mom was in assisted living for 6 years, her husband was in memory care for 4 years. There were no out of pocket expenses with the insurance paying 100%.

I haven't looked into an insurance plan yet, but that is one reason I told my parents that my wife and I were buying the house next to us in our name vs my parents doing it theirselves. Once they get moved up here, no matter what happens, their house will be safe.

As I've said before, the dreaded "40" was pretty good to me, 41 wasn't bad other than the covid drama...but after that, I seemed to go downhill in a hurry 🤣. As one of my good friends that's almost 15 years older than me always says, "It doesn't get any better!"

Grumpy is 8 years younger than me and a tree has never attacked him. He gets no sympathy from me. 😉😂😂😂
