I’ve been in a foul humor all day and don’t really know why. Every little thing has pissed me off, but fortunately, I was working by myself and didn’t have to deal with anyone. I sure hope I get up on the right side of the bed in the morning, because I do have to deal with other people tomorrow.

Good evening folks,
Had a pretty busy day today. Got up and took our dogs into the groomer then came back and finished up my neighbor's deck. It's all stained and purty now. lol
After that, the wife and I spend a couple of hours cutting and editing some music for a show we are producing in Dallas in January.
When we finished, I went over to another neighbor's house and disassembled her watering and misting system I installed for her this spring. She is an elderly lady and is already worried that the pipes will freeze. I just said, no problem, let me take care of that for you. LOL!!
Once I finished that I installed a tv swivel mount on our deck under the roof for our tv. Now I can just hang it out there for the games tomorrow and not have to worry about sitting it on a table.
Now we are sitting out on the deck watching the boats go by on the lake.
So, all in all, it was a pretty darn good day.

Tomorrow plans are to sit and watch the OU game at 11am and then the OSU game at 2:30. Then we are going to drive back to OKC tomorrow night.

It was a similar day for me as well, but I’m blaming it on the heat. We’re near the end of October and it’s 90 degrees outside. It’s not 110 hot, but it’s hot enough to get me aggravated with things. I was replacing some corrugated metal panels today, and the screws kept giving me trouble. I used every curse word that I know at least 20 times before I finished.

I do that sometimes. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often. Most of the time it's because I'm coming down with something. I sure hope that's not what's going on with you.

This day is already off on the wrong foot. Mr Coffee evidently died in his sleep sometime since yesterday morning, and I’m having to drink Kuerig coffee that my wife buys.
The old boy had a good run and served us well, and I sure will miss him. However, as much as I hate WMart (there’s nowhere else to buy such stuff around here), there will be another Mr Coffee in my house by this afternoon.

Now I need to cut my hair, and if my clippers crap out on me too, I just might lose what mind I have left.

The old boy had a good run and served us well, and I sure will miss him. However, as much as I hate WMart (there’s nowhere else to buy such stuff around here), there will be another Mr Coffee in my house by this afternoon.

Now I need to cut my hair, and if my clippers crap out on me too, I just might lose what mind I have left.

Was the Kuerig Pumpkin Spice? Did you have a sweater wrapped over your shoulders while drinking it? Sorry, I know that you’re not having a good start to the day, but I had to ask. If you’re not in a good mood, Walmart is not the place to go. When I’m in that kind of situation, I usually bribe my wife with money to go get it. It’s worth $50 or even $100 to avoid that place.

Could be worse. I left my wife at the hospital last night after an ER visit. Had been nauseated, which isn't really unusual for her, but also vomiting for over 26 hours by the time I took her in yesterday evening. They're talking surgery, possibly, for "partially obstructed small intestine." They were getting the nausea & vomiting under control, pain not so much. Have to be there at 11am, to talk to the surgeon, I guess. Neither of us is have gotten much sleep in the past 72 hours or so. And I'm the Mr. Coffee here. She likes Turkish coffee. I learned to make it when we were stationed there in the 80's. We're both tea fanatics, too. I'll be having a giant Earl Grey before I go up there. Good luck finding a machine that will last as long and do as well as the old one. And I hope you day goes WAY better than my last few have gone!

Sorry. A lot of people don't like the hassle but a cup of coffee from an Aeropress is good stuff. I guess it all depends on what a person is used to drinking.

Nah, she has some cappuccino cups, but what I’m drinking is Duncan Donut coffee. It’s not horrible, but I prefer Folgers or even Kroger brand over it.
The only WMart I frequent and don’t mind going to is in Alva. The local one here in east TX is always a mad house. As long as I don’t have to talk to anyone or no one suggests me using self checkout, I should be fine.

Oh dang!! I hope she doesn't need surgery. But ... If she does, then I hope it goes well and she recovers quickly. Y'all are in my prayers.

@retrieverman dude I feel ya. I love a plain old simple cup of cowboy-brewed Folgers. Reminds me of my grandpa. And good luck at Wal-Mart. Just driving thru the parking lot there gives me hives and causes me to hyperventilate.
