The surgery that caused this is what got her up out of her power wheelchair about 15 years ago. Doc said 50/50, it would get better or get worse. When she walked into the followup appointment after the surgery his eyes got about THIS BIG!Oh man. You got it, my friend. Doctors don't know it all -- and nobody in that ER 3 years ago thought I'd walk again. If it hadn't been for you guys going to bat for me, I'd probably still be in a hallway at OU ... Hope things go well and she doesn't need surgery after all. You guys will stay in my prayers.

We enjoyed that time, but I guess it's payback time now. She's 58. I'm more than a bit creaky, but in much better shape than she is, and I'm 68. And rode hard and put away wet. 1st hip replacement at 54, 2nd at 59. Been avoiding knee surgery since I was 19. Talked to the same doc about my back. Said when it was so bad I had nothing to lose, then it would be time. I can get by most days with NSAIDS. Got a ways to go yet. Do not want to do it alone.
Some, actually a lot of people don’t think it’s necessary to pay on time. Unfortunately, you are going to have to keep on him about paying. It’s a never ending process for me. I call folks every weekend that are late with their rent payment. I’ve got around 20 calls to make this afternoon. It gets extremely aggravating listening to all of the “reasons” why they haven’t paid yet.Knowing my strong dislike for WMart, my wife graciously offered to go to get another Mr Coffee, and I’m very thankful for it. I’m a simple guy and have only ever had a coffee maker with an on/off switch. That‘s not what my wife bought, and I have one serious question. How in the heck do you make decaf coffee by pushing a button?!? I’m not very smart and can be a little gullible, but you’re never going to convince me that by pushing the ”decaf” button that machine will magically take the caffeine out of my Folgers.
I spent all afternoon yesterday planting 4 big food plots for a guy on a local deer lease, and I kind of knew I was in trouble early in the week when he started trying to nickel and dime me to get the price down. This is something I really enjoy doing and keep my price really reasonable, but at the end of the day, I’ve got to put gas in my truck, diesel in my tractor, and get a little something for my time and wear and tear on my equipment. I was on the lease for a little over 4 hours (I could’ve done the job in two if he hadn’t wanted to “help”), and after I finished the last plot, he told me he didn’t have any money with him. The guy already owed me a little money for skid steer work from July, and we were supposed to settle up on everything yesterday. Now, I’m having to wait until he gets back from a trip to Arizona to play golf to get paid.
What the heck is wrong with people?!?
