Man ... Morning guys! Rough night last night. Finally managed to fall asleep about 7 or so this morning. 🤦🤦 Gonna be a rough couple of days getting my days and nights turned back around. Sigh ...

@BillM you guys and everybody involved in Sheri Lynn's care are in my prayers.
I slept from about 8:30pm until the alarm went off at 6am. Looked out the window, realize it was gonna be dark out there for a couple hours more, and went back to sleep until about 10am. Crawled out, moved laundry into the dryer, and went out and mowed the front lawn. Finally made it to the hospital about 1pm. She's asleep. Sitting here reading and responding to ok shooter notifications...

Her color is better. Fluid they're sucking out is mostly clear. That's supposed to be good according to the nurses.

Got done.and cleaned up around 3 pm from the youth hunt today. Ended the hunt with a 75% success rate, 14 hunters killed 21 deer out of a possible 28. Good hunt, and some happy kids!

We had a good start last night for our Unlimited Outdoor Adventures youth hunt. 14 hunters showed up, ended up with 7 deer down last night. All 3 of our girl hunters got a buck last night! We didn't get done skinning/quartering til 1130 last night. And it sounds like there's already a couple deer down this morning so far...

Hope your hunt is going good too @Oklahomabassin
Great job Clint!

We started Deer Camp on Thursday. Due to the ranch request, we couldn't arrive until 12 noon on Thursday. A few of us had set up blinds in early October but many of the guides hadn't seen the blinds yet. It was a hustle to get tents set up, gun range, cooking stuff, and show the guides their blind assignments. As hunters arrived they would go through gun safety, marksmanship and shoot to show the guide they were proficient. Friday morning hunters, guides and parents went to the blinds. By 9:18, 50% of our hunters had filled their tag. The 5 deer were quartered to put in coolers until later in the weekend. We changed a few blind assignments for the evening to try and maximize potential and it wasn't long before the number of filled tags increased to 9! Our tenth hunter had drew a little blood but after good effort by a tracking dog it was determined the deer wasn't lethally wounded. Once again the harvested deer were quartered and put in coolers. Saturday started bright and early as we had 1 hunter that still was hunting deer and a few others were hunting pigs. Only 1 shot fired and our young hunter didn't connect after reviewing video footage. Hunters and their guides started boning out meat while others were helping with the vacuum packaging and labeling. Saturday evening saw our last hunter went to the blind while a few of us went to pick up blinds and chairs that weren't being used. The others finished up processing, grinding, packaging and clean up just a little before dark. Our hunter wasn't presented with a shot opportunity on Saturday night. We had a wonderful meal of venison tacos and we had story time around the campfire that night. Clean up and packing began early this morning and we headed home about 10:30.

My camera on my phone quit me on Friday morning and I was able to get it working Saturday evening. I don't have many photos as a result.
