McClains is a pretty far dealership from where you live. What brand of RV do you have?

And, just for grins and giggles, I'm not sold on Anderson hitches. Maybe that is because of my 18-wheeler background and regular fifth wheels.

We have a Grand Design Solitude. There is no other dealership any closer and that is where we bought it. We have another trip looming and needed it fixed. The service writer said since we bought it there, they would jump it to the top of the list and they did.
The Anderson is certainly a different design, but it takes 5 minutes to remove and a ten year old kid can carry it away as it weighs 38 lbs. We have about 50,000 miles on that rig so far and the hitch has been 100%. Takes 5 minutes to hook up and be on the road.
Loaded it back up yesterday and today. Back on the road tomorrow.

Well crap !

Had the stitches removed yesterday morning and just got a call from the doc and the biopsy finally came back and it shows there is still some cancer remaining and I've got to go back in next week and be whittled on again.

Back story:....not counting several other places I've had to have cancer removed from my nose (counting the one coming up) six times and two of those times they had to put me under and take tissue from behind my ears and do a skin grafts to fill in the holes.

Naturally I'd rather have the surgery again than run the risk of losing a portion or all of my nose but one of us is getting mighty damn tired of being whittled on.

Not going to preach but I recommend that everyone goes to the dermatologist at least twice a year for a complete head to toe exam......because of my past history with skin cancer I go every 90 days.

Man, I hate to hear this. Keep up with the visits. It's better to catch it early than later.

I had my birthday, last week. Then, today I get the news.

4th Great-grandchild (girl) arrived at 1 am, this morning. 3 girls and 1 boy.
Just dawned on me, the grandkids that produced them are 3 girls and 1 boy. Grandson had son. 3 granddaughters had daughter. I may need another gun.

Pretty nice day here in the eastern TX panhandle, until I got word that we had lost yet another veteran from my old unit. Don't know details yet, but I don't think he was even 50 y.o. This kind of news is getting too common lately...

Got called in Sept. trial settled out of court. Recalled for Oct 30. I guess will see Monday.
Like you with my stance on everything probably not gonna happen but will see.
