It rained more than expected last night. My wife and I have an RV set up on some land that we’ll be moving to hopefully this Spring. We stayed in the RV last night, and we’re going to have a hard time getting out of here today. I’ve cut in a dirt road, but I haven’t laid any gravel down yet. It’s a muddy mess right now. I’ve got a four wheel drive truck, but it’s going to be questionable in a couple of spots. My wife has a two wheel drive Jeep Gladiator, and it’s staying here until it dries out or freezes over. Basically, neither one of us have a lick of sense.

Well it doesn't pay for me to take a vacation it actually cost me money. Was off the past week piddling around. Had to go to town to pickup a prescription so was browsing the car lots. You see where this is going don't ya! 
Found a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum that I thought the wife would love. She had been talking about getting one since ours had got in the high mileage category. I usually trade hers off before 100k but with chip shortage, not much to choose from and higher than sticker price dealers been getting delayed that a couple years.
Took the wife over to test drive, she loved it. Ok, we will see if we can make a deal. Made what I thought was a good deal and was ready to write a check due to interest rates being what they are but was gonna have to move some money around from different accounts. Asked about interest rates out of curiosity and was shocked that I could get a 1% interest rate for 36 months. Well heck my online savings account that I use is paying me 4%, CD's are 5.33%. What the hell I owe money for the first time in 10 -15 yrs cause it just made cents

When I left my house up there a couple weeks ago, I was in a quandary as to whether to leave the A/C going or switch it over to heat, and of course, I made the wrong choice. I always turn the water off and drain the pipes, so there shouldn’t be any problems.
I don’t know what I was thinking, because it’s October in Oklahoma.
When I bought our Oklahoma house, my wife didn’t come up to see it for 18 months, but she’s gradually started making more frequent trips up. She surprised me a couple weeks ago by wanting to come up with me, and now she’s talking about taking a couple days off this week and coming again. She still won’t admit it, but I think she starting to like the place.

Man, what a miserable day with all the cold rain and falling temps. I was lucky enough to be able to work all day inside. As a matter of fact the wife and I are still working and will be until early in the morning. We are still cutting and editing music and video and doing choreography of a show we are producing in Dallas in January. We have had many late nights with this and more to come but work is work.
At least we are indoors and out of the weather.
I pulled the boat out yesterday and filled that tank up. Added Sta-bil 360 marine gas additive to the gas just in case I don’t get it out anytime soon. Got it all cleaned up, covered and up on the lift. I won’t be back up there for a couple of weeks. No telling what the weather will be then. LOL!
