Got in my 1995 Chevy flatbed to move some flooring to the remodel house a couple days ago, and soon as I hit brake pedal, sounds like an air leak. Brake booster was leaking into the cab. I knew it wouldn't be easy but it ended up sucking worse than I figured LOL. I'm too old and fat to lay in floorboard under a dash and work any more! Got it out finally, now to get a new one, old one has to go in due to core charge.
Popped wheels off to check brakes while its down, front looked good but rear shoes were worn, and as hard as drums were to get off, its getting new shoes before reaasembly. Might even put 4 new shocks on while I'm at it, its time I believe...
Well, we made it. Left the house at 3, stopped in Norman to eat with our daughter, and got to the house at midnight. I’ll be heading out to a deer stand at 6.
...first off is a visit to the doctor's office to get a referral to a orthopedic surgeon. Supposedly, with Medicare and a supplement, one doesn't need a referral, but the orthopedic surgeons office seems to want one.
After that, it is go by our youngest son's house and rummage through some tubs of our stuff that is stored in his attic. Wife wants to see it there is stuff we can get rid of and other stuff to bring back to the RV.
At least we'll probably have lunch with the son somewhere.
