I forgot to mention last night that the serial sh*tter is back.

What kind of person pull off a major Hwy and sh*ts in someone’s entrance/driveway?!?

People never cease to surprise me. That’s disgusting! If you ever catch him, you might consider grabbing him by the scruff of the neck and rubbing his face in it.

My BIL is turning 40 in a few days, and his wife wanted to do a surprise party for him, so another friend and I got tasked with getting him away from home most of the day. We made a trip to Yukon/Mustang, went to Big Boys and Academy to check out guns, ate at Hooters then headed back west to the party. Stopped in Dill City and picked up a clothes dryer for my parents on the way home.

Then some of the partygoers decided a nerf gun war was appropos, which is how my wife and I ended up at the ER tonight ...she caught a nerf dart square in the right eye, and thinking this has happened

Her's is filled with blood in the color part to the bottom part of her pupil. Now we wait...

Not good news...

...I happened upon a YouTube video posted by some dude that thought it would be funny to "ambush" his wife with a nerf gun a number of times. I got the impression by the end of the video that she was getting VERY PUT OUT by his actions.

I figure he is going to get one of those nerf guns up the side of his head.

Dang Clint!! IIRC the "cure" is to just give it time and let the body absorb the blood?? Maybe steroids if it's bad?? One of my sisters had one when we were kids. She said it didn't hurt but I don't see how it couldn't be at least uncomfortable.

Hope she heals up quick and without any lasting issues. Sounds like y'all were having a good time up until then tho ...

We got home around 2/2:30 this morning, went to local ER first, they put some drops in her eye, and some dye to check it best they could but didn't have the equipment to do much. Thought we were going to have to drive to OU, but she got ahold of her eye dr in Elk City and he met us at his office and examined her.

We have to go back there today for another pressure test, since her eye pressure was elevated last night. He said it should heal up within a week or so, gave her some drops to help with pain, etc.

Follow up with my wife's eye dr went ok, its still too cloudy for her to see inside to check everything he said. I have a dentist appt early tomorrow, and will drop her off for another look see at the optometrist office while I go to dentist. If he has any concerns at that point (like a possible detached retina that he can't see), we may go to a retinal specialist.

Glad your wife is ok Clint. Hopefully she will not need the retinal specialist.
