Morning meet to buy a case of shotgun shells. Added to the Cowboy Shoot loads.
A trip to Atwood’s, snatched the last box of .30-06. Fiocchi FMJ, being good range shells and great brass for multiple reloads.
Had the vibratory polisher full from grandson, turned off and now to sort, deprime and reload.

I went shooting yesterday and 100-200 and 300 yards getting dope for a .223 I cut the barrel on.
Adjust scope to just under 10 power and 1 mil dot down puts me me right on at 300.

I shot some 25.0 gr H4895 and 55 v max loads I make for the AR rifles. 2.254" OAL and then shot some bolt gun loads I have used for years 26.0 H4895 and same bullet but seated 2.278"
That bolt gun load has bug holed in many trips to the range in 2 different rifles I have.

I sent 3 quick ones down range at 300 yards and printed .960" group measured center to center.
Not the first time that "bolt gun" load has printed under 1" at 300 yards.

So with that said I need to make more of those.
Federal cases believe it or not and CCI 450 for primers.

It is great to find a load so consistent, especially in several guns, that it becomes THE load for that caliber.

I don't remember ever loading H4895 in .223. I will check my records and see about trying some. 62-64 gr bullets is my preferred deer load.
