Forgot to mention but my regular dermatoligist that cut the first time has got me a appointment this morning with another doc that does the MOHS procedure and also has some training in reconstructive surgery if it's needed....I think my doc has done all he can do in his skill / training level so he passed me on to the doc I'm seeing this morning.

For those that don't know MOHS is were they cut a very thin slice then look at it and if there is still some cancer present they take another slice and keep doing it until there is no cancer present and then start repairing the area.....unlike my regular doc who has to send things out to a lab the good thing about the doc this morning is that he has a lab on site so he cuts, you wait about 20 minutes and he comes back in after reviewing the lab results and either cuts again or starts repairing the area so I'm pretty confident that he'll get it all today.

Had this procedure done on my nose several years ago with a piece of my ear skin granted to my nose. Dr James Lowe did a great job for me if you need someone. A good side benefit is he does boob jobs too so there are some hot women in his waiting room. High maintenance but nice to look at while waiting to see the doc.

So I woke up yesterday morning at about 0230 to use the restroom and saw that I had pissed a bunch of bright red blood into the toilet - not good! Went back to bed but didn't sleep really well after that. Got up again about 0730 with the intention of going to the VA Medical Center (by Lyft). When I again used the restroom after I had gotten up, everything appeared normal again.

I decided to wait and see if the same problem happens again. Pissed again a couple more times during the day and evening and still no sign of any blood. Now it's today and everything is still normal. I have to go to the VA Medical Center for a cardiology appointment and Zoster (Shingles) jab this afternoon. Not sure now if I should also stop by my PCP clinic and mention the blood in the urine thing or just carry-on, being that everything seems to be back to normal.

I've had easy-to-bleed gums and cuts ever since my cardio-doc put me on 'blood thinner' (Eliquis) script awhile back so I'm thinking that the urine blood may just be another side-affect . . . that or me plumbings gettin' old

I’m probably not the right person to answer this question, because I haven’t been to a real doctor in 20 years. If it were me, I wouldn’t say a thing about the pee problem. If it happens again, then tell them.

Yeh that’s prolly be what I’d do, but if you tell them about it they might do some tests on you to determine if there is an underlying condition ..

Thanks. That's my thinking as well because the VA tends to get crazy with their testing procedures.
Had some balance problems a few years back and ended-up spending 11-days in the hospital undergoing every conceivable test they could come up with, from an angiogram to see if I had a arterial blockage in my brain to a spinal-tap to see if I had an infection in my spinal fluid to testing to see if the nerve pathways in my legs were working properly sending electrical signals to my muscles.

Been there done that. It ain't fun. I guess noses and ears are kinda prone to that kinda thing (the cancer) ... Mine was on the bridge of my nose, next to my right eye. Doc kept bitching at me to stop looking at what he was doing. Lol (HEY!! It is MY nose and I WANTED to see what he was doing!) They had to go back a couple of times before he got it all. Said it was deep enough that I was one more shave away from going to the hospital for reconstructive stuff. I wear sunscreen EVERY time I go outside now.

I will be up there 1 day next week.

I go there every three months for an eye injection for Macular Degeneration. Their treatments appear to be working fairly well as the doctor told me a few months ago that I might be the "poster child" for their treatments. Besides the eye injections, I also take an extra Fish Oil tablet and an extra eye vitamin per day (total of 3 or each per day.)

Otherwise, I have an appointment today for evaluation and consultation on possible knee surgery. Not looking forward to surgery, but it would be better than walking with pain.

Anybody want a puppy? I posted a thread a little over a week ago about finding six puppies at my place. We’ve found a home for two of them, but we still have four left. I built a new pen for them yesterday on the property of my RV park so that they will be seen more by a potential new dog owner. One of the little $hi*$ kept escaping. I thought that he was climbing on top of the dog house and jumping over the fence, but my wife thought that he was squeezing through the wire hog panel. Turns out, she was right. I hate it when that happens! These aren’t small puppies, and I didn’t think that there was any way that they could squeeze through the wire panel. After modifying the pen, I’ve managed to keep all the little prisoners contained.

Ahhhhh ... Man I wish. I've been wanting another dog since Nero died. I am one of those people who thinks you should always have at least 2 dogs because I think they are happier that way and they don't get hyperbonded to you like Dawg is to me now.

BUT ... I have a litter of kittens on the way. Wanna trade?? Lol
