I hope you are feeling better this morning ... 🤷 My shoulder FINALLY decided to stop acting up -- Which means I can get back to work now ... Bleh ...

Morning guys ... Bleh ... I need my coffee ...
If anything, it’s worse, but like my back, I’ll learn to live with it.

Hope you feel better man! I have a feeling I'm going to be stove up and sore after today/tomorrow, putting flooring down this weekend finally

Well I had a good day. We found a home for another one of the puppies this morning, and I sold my small tractor this afternoon. The money from the tractor is going to pay for a new horse barn at our new homestead property. By around the first of next year, we will hopefully have a shop and horse barn constructed along with some other smaller things like new fencing for the pasture and a sewer system. Everything is pretty much on schedule for us to be moved by this coming spring.

As far as the puppies, my wife is getting pretty attached to one of them so I’m pretty sure that we have a new addition to the family. With us keeping one, we have one left to get adopted.

Ibuprofen is your friend. Hope nothing is torn. Shoulder injuries suck. Seems I always injure the one I sleep on…hence no sleep for quite awhile and slow to heal.
Thanks for the suggestion! :thumb:
I’ve hurt myself in alot of ways over the years, but this is my first time with a shoulder issue like this. I hadn’t taken any ibuprofen until just before I went hunting this evening, and it seems to have helped. I’m going to take more before going to bed, so I’ll hopefully sleep better than last night.

I’m a retired pharmacist. I’m 6’1” and around 225. Whenever I need to take ibuprofen I always take 4 of the 200mg (800mg) OTC gelcaps. Usually just once a day but twice/day, 12 hours apart if needed usually with food. The Rx ibuprofens are 400mg, 600mg, and 800mg. I would never take more than 2400mg/day for a short duration.

Went to a Cajun gumbo cook-off this morning in the middle of the Louisiana Henderson swamp where things like this are a tradition. 25th year.
I followed our Cajun friend around to get samples of the 42 contestants. The best in our opinions got third place, but that’s how the contests work. The judges get the final say.

About 7:00 went to watch the band and do some new Cajun dance steps from our friends.
Randy is my new hero. At 64 he has been married to a now 39 year old for almost 15 years. Solid marriage btw.

The band was Horace Trahan. They played everything from Zydeco to ZZ Top with Horace imitating the lead guitar with his accordion.
Amazing performance. I kept looking for the lead guitar player. There was none and finally figured out it was the squeezebox.

@dennishoddy I've travelled quite a bit of the US when I was truck driving, and been to a few other countries, and I'll still swear the best food is found in South Louisiana! If it wasn't for the 3 H's-heat, humidity and hurricanes- I'd retire down there and be fat and happy.

As far as that band, I have heard their song "That Butt Thing" but never knew who sang it. It used to be pretty popular hit, at least locally. Very cool visit, color me jealous!

Ironically, my neighbor down the road who is one of my skid steer customers is a Trahan from south Louisiana. I’m going to ask him if they’re kin. :anyone:
My grandparents had a lot of friends and spent a lot of time in that neck of the woods back in the 70’s and 80’s before age and health became an issue.
I was going to agree with Clint but realized that living in east TX the 3-H’s are already apart of my life.:rolleyes2
I just got up to go hunting, and my right shoulder is either completely numbed by ibuprofen or back to normal. I’m starting to think it might’ve been a pinched nerve, but whatever it was, I was fixing to have to learn to wipe my butt with my left hand due to the pain.:anyone:
