I was at my shotgun reloading bench a couple hours ago, and my wife came out let me know the dryer wasn’t working. It’s old, so I immediately thought it was probably something major. Ended up all that was wrong was the basket wouldn’t turn which I figured was a broke belt, and I was correct. I watched a utube and figured out what to do, and fortunately, the closest Lowes had one belt in stock. Other than the gas for the 30 mile round trip to town, I fixed the dryer for $13.49+tax and hopefully earned some happy naked fun time points with my wife.:thumb:

Don't post the pics here!

Glad you were able to get the dryer fixed.

Hope it works out better for you than it did me.

I went all out and squirted some WD40 on the squeaky garage side door hinges and tightened two drawer handles in the kitchen yesterday but still didn't get any lovin' last night....I'll be damed if I'm gonna tear apart a dryer just to get a little sugar. :)

Busy day. First thing, noticed some water in the garage at the water heater. Did a little troubleshooting, yep the 25 year old water heater. Quick trip to Locke Supply and $600 later had it at home and installed in about 30 minutes. It's electric and I have the flexible stainless braided lines on it, so a quick fix.
Wife decided it was time for spring garage cleaning as it was so nice outside and the door could be open. All the old pool supplies, (there was a lot) went to a friend with a pool. We threw stuff out that could probably be sold for a buck or two if we lived in town, but it all went on the trailer to a friend's private permitted dump.
Lots of room in the garage now!
