wow, 5 pages and all I see is a bunch of pissing and moaning. well, all except go ordinance. OU lost to a team that played a better game, just like OSU lost to a team that played a better game. every team has their mistakes during the games and the other team either takes advantage or misses the opportunity to take advantage of it. suck it up whiners, bottom line is, it's a dark day in Oklahoma tonight as neither of our home teams won today.

I can't make it any simpler. If you can't figure it out I don't know what to tell you. :anyone:

I mean, seriously, have you been drinking tonight? You can't make a blanket statement and say that one team that beats another team is better. The three way tie, games actually played, settled on the field, blows that reasoning out of the water.

I know, you already said you don't get it. You don't have to keep repeating yourself.

All you have to do is admit that what you meant was "better on that night" or "better for that game" or some other qualifier. You made an absolute statement. I falsified your logic with a simple example. You refuse to admit you are wrong and you keep trying to deflect it by accusing me of not understanding. Maybe it's past your bedtime.

"and trying to bust on OU fans." That's the part that is occurring at 12:47. Reading comprehension is essential.

Correct. The word 'and' is a connector. Which means you were saying OSU fans were watching the game and trying to bust on OU fans. The events happen in this order: watch game, OU LOSES, then OSU fans make fun of OU fans.

So OSU fans cannot be busting on OU fans for losing to Mizzou and be watching to see if OU loses. The losing has to happen before making fun of the OU fans. Once OU loses, it is pretty easy to bust on OU fans. Basic understanding of grammar is VERY essential.

EDIT: I falsified your statement, so you are wrong!!! :)

Just because it follows in a sentence doesn't mean it has to happen in that chronological order. Even if it did, the busting on fans could and has continued well into the night after the game was over. Besides, I said watching to see if OU loses. They are too busy to complain about their game because they were so tied up in the OU game to see if they would lose and then after OU did lose, they were too busy busting on OU fan. My statement still stands.
