What are prices today?

$2.93/gal for E10 87 at the Sam’s on Olympia in Tulsa. It was $2.87/gal for E10 87 (with the nickel discount) at the Walmarts on Cedar Lane in Norman last weekend.

$3.69 for non ethanol (won't use ethanol in boat)

$3.19 for corn blend fuel.

Yesterday, I paid $2.89 in Medford, OK and $3.07 on the Indian Nation, and I paid $2.99 today here in east TX.

I drove 500 miles yesterday, and there is no consistency in gas or diesel prices in Texas or Oklahoma.

And just like that its up to $3.29 today from $3.04 yesterday.

My bet is that we will see a steady increase until Memorial Day. After that, it will go up astronomically until the end of summer.

When I worked for both 7-11 (5.5 years) and Farmcrest (2 years) convenience store chains the price of gasoline was adjusted (or not) on a daily basis based on what the other gas stations in the area were charging. One of my jobs each morning was to drive around to a specific set of other stations to see what they were charging for gas, then adjust (or not) ours either up or down based on what others were charging.
Price adjustments are not strictly because of OPEC, our government, state, city, or even refinery, but it is often the individual store manager that sets the price (always to his/her advantage).
