+1.... I want to make a Monkey fist but I can't find any steel 1/2-3/4" bearings locally. Anyone have ideas on who carries them in Tulsa area?

Try The Rule Company on about 6th and Peoria. They have almost everything. I get my AR roll pins there.

What about using the rubber coated ball out of an old mouse? Gotta be a ton of 'em out there and should be free too.

Well the purpose of the monkey fist is if you have to, you can knock someone up side the head with it if you're mugged. Thats why the steel bearing is used.

use a marble shooter you should be able to get that at walmart.
