How about a .264/303? Long story, but I wound up with an 'extra' No.4MkI. I had always wanted something in .264 caliber so, since I had access to a machine shop at the time, I picked up a .264 barrel and made the reamer to create a .303 British necked down to .264. Killed one deer with it years ago, and it has probably been in the safe since.

When I was in college I used to hunt coyotes and sold their pelts for beer money. The only rifle I had was my 7.7 Arisaki. Which just happened to shoot extremely well. Shot a few deer with it too.

I got it when I was still in high school and it’s the round my neighbor taught me to reload and cast for as basically a kid. Still have the old Lee whack a mole reloading dies in my shed.
