I'll give it a go again this summer. I ran with a camelback in Pecos, wasn't that bad.

Two consecutive runs in July, .30 cal or larger mandatory. No freakin' .22 caliber ladies rifles allowed. I'll write up some rules if y'all are feelin' frisky....

Only .308 battle rifle I have is that Cetme. Not sure how well I can shoot that thing at 500 yards... Unless I take my 82lbs deer rifle.

Sounds like a new side event to try next summer. Back to back 10k's. Run early on Friday, then late on Saturday. Best combined time wins a special award. Best individual time counts towards the single 10k event. 10-20 total competitors, charge them $150 to participate. Take a poll to see how many are interested and to come up with a great name for the award.

I give you props for making the .30 cal rule, some of us really like our "ladies rifles".
