Pawnee Winter Run N Gun - Get Ready!

Ha! I've got a pretty good idea what I'll look like during the July RNG; doubt I'll pay money for that image!

That reminds me, the buddy I ran with this time said the RNG would be a great story for Channel 4's "Is This a Great State or What." I agreed, but told him I didn't think it would fly, even here in Oklahoma. Lots of urbanites would get pretty nervous about us running around with our guns.

It might fly. KFOR in OKC did a piece on shooting USPSA. One of the reporters, (can't remember her name now) had a segment where she did her favorite things.
Invited her to the OKC Gun club where they filmed some shooting and let her shoot and handle a gun.

It was broadcast.

I was also shooting a charity match at USSA in Tulsa when a TV film crew that was invited out showed up and shot the stage I was on. The news chick was all smiles when she got to shoot one of the guys Nighthawk.

Its not impossible that it couldn't happen.

I was wearing my hard earned run n gun shirt today and it dawned on me....

I was thinking about the slogan, yeah.... there was plenty of running, and plenty of gunning, but there could have been more BLOOD!!!!!!!

I walked away with a few scratches so I did leave some blood at the course. Maybe we need to run or crawl through briar patches or something....

Our first event, the Thunderbird Run 'n Gun in Tecumseh, had a trail through lots of briars. imhntn ran it in shorts... ask him how well our slogan fit that day!
