Why not. I've been trying at this game for a little over a year so I'm not great. Started shooting film and am having way more fun than I was with digital. I rarely pick up the DSLR now and any gear money I spend for a while will be film stuff. Anyone here shoot film? All straight scans w/no corrections. Most of my favorites are candids of people I'm not gonna post on the net, but here's these.

Minolta Hi-Matic 7SII Rangefinder, wide open at 1.7 and prolly 1/15 or 1/30, Neopan 400 pushed to 1600

Minolta, can't remember but prolly f/16 and 1/250 or 1/500 (fastest shutter it has), Neopan 400 pushed to 1600

Oh, the Minolta rangefinder wears 1.7 40mm fixed, and the Nikon SLR has a 1.8 50mm for all these shots.

Figured I'd share one or three. All shot with a Fujifilm S1800. I really want to upgrade to a DSLR. That, and get a good basic photography class. I think I've got an eye. I just need to understand all the settings better.

The EXIF data didn't upload with this one for some reason. I think it was 3 seconds, ISO 100, and an aperture of about f/3.8

Unfortunately most of my photos need to be retrieved from the hard drive of my laptop that recently crashed. Here are a just a few that I had already uploaded to Photobucket (the quality looks much worse on some of the photos than in the original files). All were shot with a Nikon D40 with the stock Nikkor 18-55mm lens. The settings should be saved in the photo properties for anyone that is interested.
