I have never shot a Neos. You should check out Heather and her sister shooting one on youtube. Search for Two Girls Shooting Fun on youtube.

Heathers husband is running the camera and they have several youtube videos. They are not bad to watch. Every time I see a Neos I think of that video.

Heather shoots handguns, rifles and shotguns and even had one where they were using a gig to catch gar out of a boat.

Congratulations on your new NEOS,,, :clap3:
I believe it to be a very fine performing handgun,,,
Keep it clean and it should provide many years of enjoyment.

I liked my first one (4.5" barrel) so much,,,
That I had to buy a second one with a 6" barrel,,,
Then I saw a carbine kit at my local rifle range and had to have one,,,
But it was a pain to spend the 90 seconds to change it out so I bought a 3rd one (4.5" barrel) just for the carbine.

Then my OCD really kicked in.

www.aarondgraham.com_pics_140102_NEOS_CasedSet_LR.jpg

This is my go-to gun for taking friends to the range,,,
I originally had a reflex optic exactly like your on both pistols,,,
But I discovered that I didn't like the way they balanced so I returned to the stock sights.

The stock sights are the only thing I don't like about the NEOS,,,
I always thought the front was just too hard to see,,,
So I purchased this fiber optic sight from EWK,,,
I bought one in red and one in green color,,,
They are both great but I like the green.

I used to have the 6" barrel mounted on one frame,,,
And the 4.5" barrel mounted on the other frame,,,
But I decided to have the two be the same.

When I take a friend shooting,,,
We are using the exact same equipment,,,
No more alibis of "You are shooting the better gun."

Then one day I was doing a bit of idle surfing,,,
I came upon a 4X pistol scope with mounts for only $23.95,,,
It mounted perfectly and zeroed in at 50 yards with no problems at all,,,
Using a shooting stick I was hitting clay pigeons at that distance with very little effort.

The carbine is an absolute blast to shoot,,,
My only complaint is I have to scrunch up to see the really nice ring and fiber optic sights.
But I solved that by buying Weaver "shoot-thru" scope mounts and this inexpensive AR style scope from Cabella's.

The "shoot-thru" mounts raise the scope high enough to be comfortable for me,,,
And I can still scrunch up and use the stock sights at close distances.

I spent an hour zeroing the scope,,,
Off a bench I am hitting water bottles at 100 yards,,,
My friend with young eyes easily hits those bottles standing up.

Last but not least I was browsing in The Evil Pawn Shop,,,
I asked the Evil Pawn Shop Guy if he had any hard cases for sale,,,
He came out of the back with this one (34" x 16") and said I could have it for $10.00.

Now I just need to cut the foam inserts a bit,,,
And then line the case with a nice wine colored cloth of some kind.

Did I mention I am a teensy bit OCD?

All in all I have way too much money invested in this set of guns,,,
They have the best built magazines of any .22 pistol I've seen anywhere,,,
And they are fine performing shooters though that eat any ammo I want to feed them.

I added everything up to about $1,100,,,
And it's money that's not badly spent at all,,,
It's just a lot of money spent to create a cased set.

Hey, I'm single with a professional income,,,
I could be spending it on booze and wild women.

They are the only semi-auto .22 pistols of the many I own,,,
That will feed and shoot the Remington Golden Bullets I have so many of.

Personally, I love the Buck Rogers styling of these guns,,,
But that seems to be a big turn-off with some rimfire aficionados,,,
My reply to them is to put one in their hands, feel the balance, and enjoy their accuracy.

Bring whatever .22 pistol you want and try to outshoot Becca,,,
She's a 13 year old girl who consistently wins Rimfire Steel Challenge matches with her NEOS.

Did I mention I am a huge fan of the NEOS pistols?

Thanks Aarond, I just ordered the green fiber optic front sight.

I put some rounds through it at H&H during lunch today. I think I'm going to move the reflex sight to my air pistol and try a pistol scope on it.

Don't buy the same El-Cheapo scope I did,,,
It died on the third range outing,,,
I should have known better. :screwy:

I'm talking about this one,,,
4X pistol scope with mounts for only $23.95,,,

The AR style scope I bought from Cabela's is working just fine for me.

I'm going to re-install one of those reflex sights I have laying around on the 6" barrel,,,
I will probably not see a lot of use as I like the 4.5" barrels much better,,,
But my OCD simply won't allow me to not have an optic on it. :hithead:

I can almost guarantee you will love that fiber-optic front sight,,,
It really makes a difference in quick target acquisition.

Thanks for the link. I have been looking for something like this. These are awesome pistols. But the sights are hard to see as mentioned above.
