Dawww hello 
I haven’t tried it mainly because I don’t have enough time for another hobby, but I know a couple of guys that have started playing within the last year. It’s definitely becoming pretty popular in our great state.
I tried it a couple of years ago, my knees didn't like it, I may have been trying too hard.

My wife and son like it, so we hit that Pickle Ball restaurant up every now and again. Food is well meh bar food and service is meh bar service, but it's fun. Gets me out of the house, kid off his phone and me laid. Win win all around

My wife tells the story that her father had the same belief about TV when she was little. Nay-Sayers have always been around and likely always will.
I haven't tried it, but there is a side today is at least 10 years younger than myself (probably closer to 20) that goes to the same physical therapist as I do that is there for pickle ball related knee injuries. That tells me that I should probably NOT try it considering I'm in physical therapy for shoulder injuries related to birthdays (for the most part).
Sad thing is, I'm not even 50 yet, but that makes me feel REALLY old.
