So the wife and I drove out to look over Okie Shooter Range. Found the locked gate and no trespassing signs. We were going to crawl through the fence and check it out but, no trespassing means no trespassing. We decides to join that club and try it out. We will keep our OKCity gun club membership for now also. Next year we rethink.

We also found the Chicken Shack. We have never been there before. How can they move that? The wife questioned how to capture the atmosphere. I said it's not just atmosphere it's character also--to use a 2 dollar word, ambiance.

Chicken was good also.

It’s very rustic and doesn’t have the thrills and the amenities like OKC Gun Club but for $55 for a family membership, you can’t beat it.

Since my wife is my primary shooting partner, I will invite her to lunch at the Chicken Shack and since we are in the area, lets go shooting before or after. She hasn't shot her new Glock44 yet and she has been suggesting.
