Pistol braces. What is the word?

I haven’t really heard for sure. Have the braces been ban, or is democrats still trying?
Is it any different having a brace on an AOW?

You have, as of today, 4/24/23, thirty-seven days left to either convert your pistol to a legitimate rifle with a barrel of 16 inches or longer, register your braced pistol as a SBR, remove the brace, turn in the firearm, or destroy the firearm. The deadline is May 31st, 2023. Also, as of today, there have been no successful requests for injuctions to ban the implementation of the AFT rule change.
