Yep. It is 7 rounds.

In 2014 it was 7. Have not checked lately. Has it changed?

Like OB said. 7 rounds for .22 diameter bullets.

50 round drum mags are ok for any other caliber.

It hasn't changed as far as I know, I just remembered it being 5 rounds. I don't hunt deer with a .223 so I don't have to worry about it. That's probably why I remember wrong.
