We should do this as well,,,
If for no other reason than to de-wimpify our youth.

I have a friend who recently retired from the U.S. Army,,,
His last 6-years was as a basic training firearms instructor.

He said that at least a dozen out of every 100 new recruits,,,
Experienced some type of mental trauma,,,
Just by handling a firearm.

How did we go so quickly from a country where dang near every boy had a .22,,,
To a country where just handling a weapon makes one ill.

We are far from being the great country we once were,,,
I don't know if we will ever be that strong again.

Is there such lack of self awareness these days that a person that would be traumatized by handling a firearm would enlist in the Army, or any branch for that matter? Isn't it somewhat of a given that someone enlisting in the ARMED forces would be required to become proficient in arms? Are people really that stupid? Short answer: Yes x3.

You answered your own question. The current military seems to focus on how one can get a free college education just by joining, leaving out the guns and blowing shat up part.
