We should do this as well,,,
If for no other reason than to de-wimpify our youth.

I have a friend who recently retired from the U.S. Army,,,
His last 6-years was as a basic training firearms instructor.

He said that at least a dozen out of every 100 new recruits,,,
Experienced some type of mental trauma,,,
Just by handling a firearm.

How did we go so quickly from a country where dang near every boy had a .22,,,
To a country where just handling a weapon makes one ill.

We are far from being the great country we once were,,,
I don't know if we will ever be that strong again.

Is there such lack of self awareness these days that a person that would be traumatized by handling a firearm would enlist in the Army, or any branch for that matter? Isn't it somewhat of a given that someone enlisting in the ARMED forces would be required to become proficient in arms? Are people really that stupid? Short answer: Yes x3.

You answered your own question. The current military seems to focus on how one can get a free college education just by joining, leaving out the guns and blowing shat up part.

Russia got their ass kicked by the Germans and then did the same thing. Prepare for future war. Take a look at top sniper kills of all time. There are a few Americans on the list but the surprising part is the number of kills the Russian female snipers took. Most of what every country learned about sniping was from Russian training books. The first Russian invited to the White House after WWII was the great female sniper and trainer Lyudmila Pavlichenko. She was invited by Eleanor Roosevelt, who recognized the value of such a person and marveled at Pavlichenko's accomplishments. There is a lot to be learned from history. I can't find the list in order of kills but below is a good read and should give you an idea that the internet has hyped up some men and we should be proud of our Americans. But we never got our ass kicked and felt the need to train in schools like the Russians did. Our set back was queers recking and lawyers dismantling the Boy Scouts of America. All the original skills taught there were sublime and preparatory. https://owlcation.com/humanities/Deadliest-Female-Snipers-in-History
update: top 10 US men = 1019 kills
Chris Kyle #1 with 160
top 10 Russian females = 977
Pavlichenko #1 with 309
