Poor / Rich

I think anyone over $1 mil as making really good money, over $5 mil is rich. Anything $1 mil to $250k makes good money. $100k to $250k is doing pretty well. In today's economy anyone under $100k but above $30k is middle class IMO.

I hope to one day make good money.

Growing up I had dreams of one day making six figures, $100k isnt what it used to be.

Class isn't determined by an amount of money. It's determined by how you use money.
The "lower class" uses money to buy "things". (cigarettes, booze, creature comforts)
The "middle class" uses money to better themselves. (education, investments, retirement)
The "upper class" uses money as a tool to make more money, or to show off.

There are people with MILLIONS of dollars that are lower class, and there are homeless drifters that are middle class.

I've never been poor, but I wouldn't even consider myself poor if I were homeless and ragged.

I wonder how old you have to be for your frame of reference to expand to the point where poor & rich are terms you apply to yourself?
Do you think you are poor or rich by the time you are 10? 5? 18?
I don't know about anyone else, but I thought pretty much every one else grew up the same way I did. At least until the government schools told me otherwise. I can't really remember poor & rich coming up amongst my peers and myself, at least as it applied to our own situtations.

The question is still "Have yopu ever considered yourself poor?"

According to household income we are poor. However we both have many good friends, we own our home and property outright, have a couple decent (not new) vehicles and manage to eat good and pay the bills every month. Wife and I are RICH!!!!!!!!!
