Buy the extended warranty.

Son carries one on his truck. First one quit. Took it to HF. They replaced, no question. Extended warranty included.

Ha ha! Um no. I'm thinking either used, stolen or scam. Doubt if you can get one for under $1000 these days, but they are the best gennies if you can afford it.

I believe the 2000 is slightly smaller engine and generates slightly less output than the 2200 but it's been a minute since I was looking at the specs on them.

I got the knock off HF predator, i also have the Honda one. I feel the predator has a little more power, and is half the price. i have used it heavy for a year so far and totally happy with it. can be found for around the $500 mark.

1 gallon of gas will run 5-8 hours easy.
