Silly dog thought he was king of the hill... our Yorkie (full grown) showed him!

They are best of friends! One rarely goes anywhere without the other.

When sarge isn't home for whatever reason, Chloe (Yorkie) won't eat. She just pouts.

When Chloe isn't home, sarge paces and whimpers for about an hour, the flops down in the living room and refuses to play until she returns. He will mind and follows commands but does so without enthusiasm.

Here is Freya. We picked her up when I was in Germany. She is of Czech working dog stock but was basically socialized as a part of our homeschooling pack. Pic 1 is as a young adult in Germany; pic 2 is as a middle aged adult at Christmas a few years ago; pic 3 is recent as a more senior adult.

That's how our GSD and Blue Heeler are. They fuss at each other sometimes but are inseparable They are like brothers from other mothers. We have a chihuahua who thinks he's the boss of them all.
